Not a big fan of either but I'll probably root for Crawford. I've always favoured him to beat Spence and after all the debates on here over the years it would be nice to be proven right.

Spence, because he is younger and will have more time to build a legacy.

Ugas fight was due to mouth piece falling out. After he was knocked against the ropes you saw him come back even stronger. Don't sit here make it seem as though Crawford is some defensive genius that doesn't get wobbled every fight that he has had he has gotten hit and rocked

He spat his mouthpiece out because he'd been hurt

And I said Crawford has been hurt by one of the few legit bangers he's fought. Again, neither of them have hardly fought any legit bangers and certainly ones their size.

Crawford was hurt and dropped by Egis and badly hurt by the way smaller Gamboa but I don't recall him spitting out his mouthpiece and pulling ouch that hurt little girl faces when he gets caught like Spence does. He reacts better when he gets hit and he's the superior fighter in terms of skills and defense for sure.

Crawford wasn't dropped by Egis. He was buzzed but Egis flung him to the canvas. Doesn't matter because Crawford went on to beat the hell out of him. But people need to stop with the lies. No one talks about when Gary Russell Jr dropped Lomachenko.

That's because one was a KD and one wasn't. Egis clearly dropped him and GRJ didn't drop Loma.

And who said anything about Crawford not beating Egis up and stopping him afterwards after he got dropped? Not me

Fact is neither Crawford or Spence have fought many legit punchers, let alone ones their size and Loma has fought many his size, bigger or way bigger in way less fights

How many times have Spence and Crawford fought a legit puncher or KO artist their size?

How many times have they fought ones who outweighed them by one division in their first, second or third weight? Obvious Spence hasn't summoned the courage to move up yet even though he's a very big guy

How many times have they fought ones who outweighed them by two divisions at their first, second or third weight?

How many times have they fought ones who outweighed them by three or more divisions at their first, second or third weight?

And obviously when you're fighting much bigger and heavier guys the power is magnified so even lighter punchers have more power against you than they do against fighters their size

    You see my point?

My only grievance is that of Crawford getting dropped. I challenge anyone to watch that round again and tell me that the following sequence did not happened.

    1. Kavaliauskas caught Crawford with an overhand right that buzzed him.
    2. Crawford went in to hold while Kavaliauskas excited and swinging wildly.
    3. Kavaliauskas still swinging wildly, flung Crawford to the canvas.
    4. Result, no knockdown. Because he did not go down from the result of a punch.

Crawford and Spence have not fought a dangerous punchers at WW. I won't argue against that. However to say that they are huge at welterweight is false. Even the top guys at JMW are much bigger men than them. Especially Crawford who started his career at lightweight. To call either weight bullies is laughable.

I understand what you're saying but Egis hurt him good with that shot and Crawford instinctively lunged in to grab a hold because he was hurt and to prevent himself from going down but Egis didn't let him and just kept punching. Egis didn't shove him down he just kept punching and Crawford went down because he was still hurt. There's no shame in that because like I said Egis has big power in both hands. And Crawford ate some big flush shots off of him at other times in the fight too.

Even Ward and Bradley considered it a KD

They haven't fought many legit bangers period. You can scan through their records and see that. Mikey is a legit big puncher but not at 147. His KO% above 135 = zero

Crawford was definitely a big weight bully at 135 and he was a big 140 pounder too coming in at 157

I never really thought of Spence as a weight bully as such. He's a very big guy for the weight but I don't think he's rehydrating a ton of weight after weigh ins.

Narrowly Crawford to cement his legacy. If the fight comes off, just let the better man win.

Where does this stuff come from that Spence is "very big" for the weight? He's only 5'9" and a half; he's taller for the division but by no means is he huge. He's also solidly built but not stocky.

Paul Williams was a 6'1 welterweight - *that's* a huge welter. Antonio Margarito was 5'11, another big WW. But people saying Spence is a natural MW when plenty of guys there are over 6 feet. Makes no sense.
