Who will you be rooting for: Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk?

Usyk.

I used to like Fury but he has become insufferable, and his cult like fans are now worse than the matchroom casuals of a few years back.

I’m over the “yeah Fury’s the best HW ever mate, blah blah blah, I reckon if he were to fight a grizzly bear, he’d just lean on him and tire him out, it would turn out exactly the same as the Wilder 2 fight.”…. Or something equally nauseating and clueless being spouted by his groupie fan base.

 

Usyk has a better, more colorful personality than Fury does.

 

Nah.

 

His haters are equally annoying, literally seething at everything he does and over analysing any interview.

 

Like giving all his money to Charity? His frequent retirements? His homophobic slurs? There are so many reasons why i could never support this man even though i accept he is a good fighter

 

Usyk because he is smaller guy who takes risks all the time

He is more skilled and have higher ring IQ.

Fury is dirty fighter, xenofobic freak and don't deserve respect that british fans are giving him, despite him said and done things that others will be slayed.

 

I am good with the result either way. 2 excellent boxers.

Out of benevolence for Fury i shall be giving 100% support for Usyk.

If it was a "curse" beating one Ukrainian, no supporter of Fury should want the bipolar sufferer (of course neither Fury or his fanboys ever mention the condition) to be put through the curse of beating yet another Ukrainian.

 

I’d say his groupies are more embarrassing than annoying.

 

Fury's antics would be tolerable if he wasn't using them to avoid good fights. Like when he signed to fight Wlad and showed up as Batman, that was great and entertaining The fight was already set. So his clown act was great promotion.
When he makes call outs that he has no intention of fighting, retires and unretires, lies constantly, says stupid things, fighting chumps like Chisroa...that is irritating and deserving of all the hateraide thrown at him.

Big fan of both. I just want to see the fight.

I'm expecting a Fury win, but it's a tough one to call as Usyk really is that good.

 

I find Usyk to be more likable but I do find Fury entertaining. Both guys are fun to watch in the ring and clearly the 2 best in the division.

I lean towards Fury and that's purely because I feel like Fury has more to offer the division moving forwards. I reckon he'll keep going for a few more years whereas Usyk I get the impression win or lose he's done with the sport in 2023.
