I'm torn. I'm a big fan of both and I'll feel happy for the winner and bad for the loser whichever way it goes I've been a big fan of Beterbiev since 2008, whereas I've been one of Bivol since 2014 so I do feel a certain loyalty towards Beterbiev
BIvol all the way. I think he's the better fighter and it will show later today when he outboxes Beterbiev to a Decision.
Beterbiev. Simply because he's been in better fights. But I am extremely grateful for Bivol for the great Humbling of Clen.
I can't tell yet. I have a natural bias toward boxers b/c when I was young that's what I was best at and therefore spent most time learning and training. Obviously, I'm a Bivol fan. That said I'm kinda blown away and almost offended for Betterbiev by the odds and media picks being so far in favor of Bivol though I remember most picked the Nail to beat him. 20-0, 20 k.o.'s There's been times when I haven't felt bias for one or the other until they're actually fighting. Beter - Gyoznik, Canelo - GGG, and Holyfield - Bowe were times when throughout the fight my allegiance changed and I think this fight will be like that. I hope we get the fight we want. I hope the ref gets involved only when needed and the judging is fair. I hope boxing doesn't put on one of it's farces when the world is watching.
As is the case with a lot of other members, I'm pretty much neutral as regards who I want, or actually expect to win. Anyways, I'm absolutely convinced it's gonna be a bloody fantastic fight, and that's all that matters to me personally. We've got a very decent undercard too so it could very well be an epic night all round. I just hope the flow of the card is as seamless as can be and we don't have tooooo much razzamatazz and long boring filler gaps in-between bouts. ^These days, big ask, I know.
