Sort of inconsistent, no? Tito has no pedigree at MW, but Pavlik and Winky do at LHW? and those wins are what make him great?

Regardless of whether Hopkins fought smaller guys(he did). It's inconsistent to say that. Would GGG not be a good win for Ward? Better than an Edwin Rodriguez win?

It's revisionist history to say that Tito was not his best MW win. Tito was on the warpath. Yes, it was at lower weights. But that doesn't erode the fact that Tito was a solid favorite, a p4p fighter, and that this was a uni fight. Tito was looking to make history.

Glovkin would be out of his depth. Hopkins in his prime had a deadly uppercut he could hit you with from half way across the ring. It came from the wait up and was hard to see coming.
His movement , stamina , workrate was on another level to 3G. Too crafty and unpredictable. A guy with Glovkins record and reputation for ducking fights isn't beating any Hopkins

Definitely revisionist history which we see too much of nowadays. How many of the people calling Trinidad a blown up welterweight who did nothing special at the weight were saying so leading up to the fight with Hopkins? Almost everbody I know picked Trinidad to beat Hopkins and were in fact already speculating about the outcome of a fight with he and Jones.

You are a f4cking idiot ! What does a record and reputation (even if he really had such) has to do with fighter's skills and performance in the ring ???

Speaking about the record, Hopkins did nothing special at MW beside the number of defenses. His opponents were either the same level as Golovkin's, or blown up smaller guys like Tito and DLH. And finally, Bernard's MW career "culminated" with double beating by Taylor.

Everything. The level of opponent is a measuring stick of ones skills and ability.
3G didn't want any part of Ward , that tells me he wouldn't want any part of Hopkins either.

Glen Johnson , Pavlik , Winky Wright, Willy Joppy , Trinidad , Hoya are better than anybody 3G has beaten.

Joe Lipsey was a bigger puncher than anybody 3g fought and Robert aLLEN was on the same level , if not better than 3Gs best win - Martin Murray.

Hopkins went up two division and won titles at 175. 3G won't even go up a single division unless its for guys he knows are at the end of their career.

3G 'The Big Ham Show can't hang with any Hopkins.

GGG give Hopkins no quarter. GGG wins. Who did Hopkins ever beat at middleweight that was decent. Sorry blown up lightweight and welters do not mean much.
