Camacho faster, tougher and threw flashier combos than Roger, but Roger is more accurate and harder punching which count for a lot when scoring knockouts.

    roger was a respected titleholder.
roach never quite got to contender status. roger was also a couple of divisions higher, more skilled, bigger and just better. roach was a limted brawler who tried the bob and weave style but didnt have the talent of his students tyson, pacquiao and toney.

Roger Mayweather already whooped Freddie Roach in sparring. It was a bad beating, too.

    roger is OVERRATED

recently there was a poll where people were picking him to beat pacquiao!

that being said he was a better fighter than roach and his brother floyd sr who were both journeymen.

Or Zab knocks out Roger. Both guys can hit and don't take 'em in a stellar fashion. Although I can't stand Zab, so never mind I said anything. Roger KO1 Zab.

    zab beats him up

i dont get why roger is so overrated here, he won a super feather title and lost it in his first defense and then he was a light welterweight title holder for a year.

zab judah was UNDISPUTED champion in 2 divisions.

He's overrated here? I've never seen him even given much thought here, so I think he's underrated. He was the LINEAL champion of Super Featherweight and there's certainly no shame in losing your light welterweight title to ****ing Julio Cesar Chavez. Mayweather was a good fighter with a serious punch. And no, Zab was definitely not undisputed in two divisions.

start a thread about roger mayweather vs pacquiao/cotto/mosley/judah/de la hoya who ever, the polls are usually even (or almost even).

his punching power is also overrated, yeah he was no paulie malignaggi but he was no tommy hearns either, it was after that episode of 24/7 where he said he knocked his 200lb trainer out cold when people started overrating his power.

I said he had a serious punch, I didn't say he was Tommy Hearns for Christ's sake. And I said he was a good fighter, I didn't say he'd beat Pacquiao or De La Hoya or Mosley level fighters at any of their weights or even imply it. I also said he didn't take a stellar punch. I'm not overrating him. I also haven't seen anyone saying he was in their league here, whether they did or not. Also, I said he's a good fighter. And since he's a two division world champion, one-time linear champion, I think I'm backed up in at least that position. And Zab is destructible, like Roger is and I don't think as good of a boxer. My opinion remains the same. I think it's kind of a tossup.

I take it you dont know much about Mayweathers career I wouldnt say he hit like Tommy but he was a very dangerous puncher, he beat some good fighters and if you dont agree than you dont know much about the fighters im about to mention.

Sammy Serrano -very solid long time champ and he got flattened by Roger.
Vinnie Pazienza- Was still in his prime and was thoroughy whupped.
Mario Martinez- Very good fighter and would have been a good champion if not for Chavez.
Rene Arredondo- JW titilist was a huge pucher and still in his prime
Harold Braizer- This guy was a helluva fighter .
Sammy Fuentes- Was a dangerous fighter and good puncher when Roger knocked him out.
    Terrance Ali- very solid contender
Gato Gonzalez- very exciting and good punching long time contender
Ruben Munoz- another former top contender with a big punch
Kenny Bayesmore- Good win over hyped up undeafeated prospect.

He also dropped Whittaker, and fought Chavez tough the second time around. yey he had a bad chin, but so does Zab.
