Leonard. He's the most well rounded. Blazing hands, dazzling footwork, an iron chin, could box or slug, good finishing ability, great jab, could target the body, combinations, and he just had that dog in him. I'm not saying he just stomps the others, but if they all fought each other 10x, I think Leonard would have the most wins at 147.
Floyd. Though I think Leonard and Robinson got a high chance to beat him, the only welter I'd confidently bet on to beat Floyd is Tommy Hearns. An ATG with a huge stylistic advantage on him
The elephant in the room here of course that Crawford walks in the ring at 160+ lbs. Matching Crawford with same day weigh in welters just doesn’t make much sense.
Robinson was a WW absolutely dominating and wreaking havoc on ATG MW's...................while still really being a WW. None of those other men showed the capability to do that. I don't think any of these 4 fighters would be out of their depths vs. the other, but I'd have to favor Sugar Robinson
To think, Robinson's 1st 42 fights were never filmed. I guess the aura was already present when they started filming his fights. Very difficult to go against Robinson in this match up.
I think about that often and how much we in the modern day have been deprived of concerning him................others too, but especially him.
One of the Sugars & seeing that I've seen more of one being Leonard I would have to choose that option.
