Baldo by a wide UD, he's just a more refined fighter, despite being a 2nd rater himself.

    baldomir is complete garbage

his fight with zab, all he did was walk forward

i actually think gomez has showna much better repetoire of punches. in his last fight with gatti he showed good combos.

    Exactly.

Gatti was done against Baldo and roasted against Gomez, plain and simple.

Agreed. He's a regional journeyman, nothing more - and he's OLD and can't hit worth a lick. Yeah, Gomez is quite limited himself, but at least he's got youth on his side.

    Gomez UD

    Experience buddy. Experience! :yep

Baldo is 43-10, his only lost since 1999 is against Floyd, his last five fights are against Miguel Angel Rodrigues (26-1); Zab Judah (34-2); Arturo Gatti (40-7): PBF (36-0) and Vernon Forrest (38-2) on the other hand, Gomez is 17-3 and his first 10 rounder is that against the worn out Gatti.

A veteran campaigner against an eight rounder?

This is the same type of prediction that I was warning you against last week. To be fair, Baldo IS better than Gomez all the way around, Baldo wouldn't have been struggling with Feliciano and others.

Gomez can't hurt Baldo and is vulnerable to Baldo's awkward shots, where Baldo's workrate is better.

Easy wide UD. Gomez is a gate keeper/journeyman level also, but with less to work with.

I disagree. Was the Gatti fight the first time you saw Gomez? He essentially had a stationary, roasted done target to tee off on.

I picked Gomez by TKO and that's how it went down, but he was also missing some sloppy shots, where Baldo's body of work is tighter and better timed.

It's always easy to look good against an old and worn out opponent friend. :D :yep
