Kirkland again but he will touch the canvas a few times and have to hang on a bit for dear life
Kirkland is always dodgy early and Angulo will be dangerous but after a few rounds Angulo gonna start takin a beatin again

 The reason why James isn't the favorite in a rematch is because everyone saw how lucky James was to get out of the 1st round...Has nothing to do with him being black.

James was even more lucky that Kirkland shot his load and was a walking corpse for the remaining rounds. I would bet a grip that James gets his ass handed to him if he were dumb enough to give Alfredo a rematch.

tbh as much as Kirkland was hurt he was dodgin and parryin alot of punches
one more clean shot woulda dropped him or hurt him but Angulo couldnt get that one more shot

Angulo shot his load and was trying too hard to get the ref to come in and stop the fight by throwing a lot of punches....What he should have done was take his time in placing his punches after he hurt James.

Like I said...I don't want to take anything away from Kirkland's best win....Afterall....he did win fair and square....but the sun shines on a dogs ass every now and again....this was it for James. he showed heart and determination...he gained great experience....but I honestly feel that the biggest factor to James winning was based on a fatal mistake that his opponent made. Not based on James being a better boxer....I don't believe that for even a hot second.

Angulo. He will know not to punch himself into exhaustion when he knocks down Kirkland 30 seconds into the fight again. And he will knock down Kirkland 30 seconds again. Trust me. Kirkland still makes too many mistakes.

i see it like this he hit Kirkland with one clean shot and he drops he only needed 1 more clean shot so it his fault for throwin all them punches wildly and not settin them up but that just shows his flaws
i do think the rematch will be completely different and Angulo will hurt him a few times but Kirkland gets stronger in the later rounds i can see Angulo gassin at about round 8 but not sure if he stops him again

If Angulo takes his time then that just gives Kirkland more time and opportunity to land punches of his own as well.......If Angulo were to get James hurt again, he will be in a catch 22 situation again on whether to attack relentlessly or take his time in trying to finish Kirkland off, both predicaments are dangerous when facing a big puncher like Kirkland.

As will be the case with many of Kirklands future fights, it will depend on the ref.

Kirkland could very well go down, but he wont stay there, if the ref doesnt take him out, I would expect Kirkland to get up however many times he needs to, claw his way back into the fight, and then go on to grind Angulo up and beat him down.

If the ref stops it too early, then Angulo could very well get a TKO win.

You make valid points and you could be right....it's not out of the realm of reality. But lightening rarely strikes twice in the same place. I think for James, he'll probably avoid the rematch with Angulo. Too much risk....not enough reward. If Kirkland does make the fight and you are right about the outcome....I'll be very surprised....Just as surprised as I was the first time.

IF Angulo hurt James and took his time to set up well placed shots to the head and body....rather than throwing a million punches that missed more than landed....James wouldn't have survived.

Quantity over Quality in this case did NOT work out....sometimes it does...but in this circumstance it was a fatal error after the best possible scenario for any fighter...which is hurting or scoring a KD in the first round.

Kirkland had Angulo backing up almost immediately. The reason Angulo went for broke in the first round was because he knew Kirkland would be a juggernaut as the fight progessed and wanted to get the stoppage early.

Unfortunately for him, the stoppage never came.

I say if they fight again, and Angulo takes his time, the same thing happens, even if it may take a few more rounds.

I don't know Kirkland beat him like he owned him money. It's hard to come back from that sometimes.
