Miranda his a good step up for Ward but nothing more ! Ward should win this one easely by UD but a fight against Miranda will help him learn to be concentrate every seconds of the fight , you can't get lazy or unfocused in the ring with a guy like Edison or he will eat you alive.
i got miranda to win by late ko i only say this because 2 people beat edison they were the 2 hardest hitters from mid weight to super midweight that what it takes to beat him. ward is a good boxer but miranda will take his best punches and walk through him and ko ward
In order to beat Mirand you need to have good lateral movement,a jab,and fast,accurate punches.Ward has all these but he also needs to use them constantly to win,Green also had them but was overwhelmed by the aggresion of Miranda. You can easily counter Mirnada's jab and his right hand altough that is somwhat more difficult.Now Miranda is a tough customer on the inside with the headbutts,elbows and low blows and he has explosive punches so you can't take moments off unless he gives them cuz he doesn't have a Glen Johnson type pressure. Pick Ward late KO.
I say on the 17th they go into the 'hood and settle it old school and Miranda takes down Ward. But, when they actually fight in the ring on the 16th Ward is going to run circles around Miranda and either win an easy decision or stop him late.
