Bivol can punch a bit and he is by no means a light puncher. He's just small for the weight class, almost always fighting bigger or much bigger guys, and he's also fought a lot of very durable guys who either haven't been stopped or have only been so very rarely

Pascal is iron-jawed, has fought everyone and has only been stopped x 2 and that was by Kovalev back when he was punching holes through castle walls

Clenelo is iron-jawed too and has obviously never been stopped

Chilemba is very durable, has fought everyone, and he's only been stopped once on an arm injury

Joe Smith Jr. is very durable and has only been legitimately stopped once, by the murderous punching Beterbiev who is arguably the hardest puncher in the sport, easily top 3 if not, and has dropped and stopped every man he's fought

Craig Richards is very durable and has never been dropped or stopped

I think it's the same for Salamov

Zurdo has never been dropped in 45 fights AFAIA or stopped

And even Lenin Castillo (goes by a different name now) went the full route against the big punching Marcus Browne and had never been stopped before. He's subsequently been stopped once since by Callum Smith

Almost all of these guys were bigger or much bigger than Bivol

And many of them have never even been dropped
