Both used to throw a lot more punches and both were damn good at lightweight. For me thought, Mayweathers toughest fight at lightweight was Castillo who was a good fighter, but Oscar beat a lot of fighter similar to Castillo at lightweight with much more ease. I think Oscar probably wins a very close decision over Floyd. I think Oscars jab would have been the difference..if he chose to use it.

50/50 in my opinion... it depends on a whole lot of factors and strategic mindsets... hard to discount oscars near close win over a prime floyd tho...

I'll have to say ODLH by any means, he was hungrier then and could hurt anyone at that weight.

PBF too much speed, defense and lateral movement for Oscar at that weight. Oscar always would have problems with PBF and PBF would give him fits at 135 even more than he did at 154.

De La Hoya was a killer...
I prefer Oscar's style & instinct at anything below 147 lbs.

IMO Oscar was better at 147 than he was at the lower weights. He was dropped by guys he had no business getting dropped by down there possibly because he had no business at those weights in the first place and was drained.

It would be a lot closer than the bout up at 154lbs.

Mayweather wins easy. I like Oscar but he is way overrated. Mayweather was a big puncher at lightweight, just look at what he done to Corrales.

After, can't remember what fight it was at.

PS I know when Mayweather fought Corrales it was at Super Feather but I meant PBF was a big puncher at lower weight classes, not specifically lightweight.

Mayweather fairly easy. He was a beast at 130 and 135. He still an amazing fighter now, best in the world but at 130 and 135 he was a different animal. Joy to watch.
