With Clottey dismantling Mudine & becoming relevant at 154, who wins big, strong, tough Clottey or thr ferocious, high volume, big puncher Kirkland?
i can see this being close on the polls but i think kirklands relentlessness can force clottey back into his triple guard turtle shell
Clottey gets the win here, but it really is close to a 50/50 fight either way one would look at it, I'd think. Styles favor him heavy and I saw all I would need against Mundine to judge current form to pick him over Kirkland's ass.
I don't see Kirkland straight up knocking out Clottey winging from the outside right out of the gate. So Clottey will get his chances on the inside. If he punches, I can't see Kirkland taking them. Clottey will also get plenty of openings due to Kirkland's nature and you've got to imagine that the ring IQ of Clottey, although questionable multiple times in his career, is far superior than Kirkland.
