If he gets past AA who he should with the styles someone like Bute would present a whole different style and be another solid win for a fighter who has been in with 1 fighter above domestic level. JUst seen the Bute has lost his last 3 so maybe the end of the road for him. BUt someone of that ilk a former champ whos maybe got a few miles on the clock. He will learn more against AA than he did walking in and throwing the kitchen sink at Quinlan. Then he can dream of Degale, Groves etc.

At this moment in time Degale would box his head off, Eubanks power won't trouble chunky, His work rate might but if Degale can put his shots together Eubank won't be able to come forward and thow his big wide hooks and uppercuts and even if he does he will get hammed with a straight left.

He's also been buzzed by the likes of Spike and had to run across the ring from Blackwell - at world level I can see him getting sparked.

    Eubank wins handily.

I've noticed boxing fans are very biased to who they want to win & always want to put down anyone who has any remote hype from casual's.

This happens a lot with eubank. I don't like the guy either but I know it, and you all know it, he's a machine. Don't give me the BJS fight talk - he slaughters BJS if they ever fought again.

Degale doesn't want this fight. He's openly said he simply doesn't want to give Eubank the money. One of the biggest myths in boxing is fighters don't get scared - bull****! DeGale has seen Eubank in sparring & he knows he would be up against a non stop machine who would have learned so much from that BJS fight.

Eubank slaughters both DeGale & Groves. It hurts but we all know it deep down.

Yes, imagine Eubank trying them leap in uppercuts from 6 feet away. Degale would land 2/3 on him.

Non stop wrecking ball? He takes massive rests against opposition who aren't even firing back at him. Walking away, refs having to tell him to engage. Is that Non stop?

He battered Blackwell with hundreds of shots and Blackwell was still coming forward and fighting back. Is that really a wrecking ball??

You're right people don't like him and I'm one of them but there's plenty of boxers I don't like who I can give lots of credit to, Mayweather, Froch, Joshua etc. The fact is some people just don't rate Eubank, maybe he'll prove people wrong.

Yes, he will prove you all wrong, if they hurry up and get some god damn world class fights. I agree I'm concerned in that department but I'm also sure Groves & DeGale don't want any part of Eubank. BJS would be the same but after recent events, he may just be desperate for the payday and take the inevitable loss.

How does Eubank Jn slaughter BJS if they fought again, what's your thinking on it?

If BJS didn't prepare properly and wasn't in peak physical shape then I could see it...but the bad blood between them, I personally think it would be a huge motivator for BJS. So I think a victory for Eubank in that fight (as if he'd face him again anyway) would depend on BJS's limitations rather than anything different or improved that Eubank can bring to the table.

I don't like the lad but I love boxing and he is an good fighter and I enjoy his fights...but in the SM division can he TKO/KO a quality natural super middleweight....I think most would say no. He could outwork/outpoint them but when we're talking about levels, a world class fighter can prepare and deal with that and especially if that fighter is a natural middleweight.

If he stopped faffing about and stayed at middleweight, he could win a (proper) world title eventually I reckon, like a vacant one or something and then hog it.

Degale UD. While Degale probably lost his last fight with Jack, it was razor close and Jack is way better than Eubank in terms of power and ability.

Yeah. I did wonder why he pulls those somewhat odd faces. As you pointed out it's just him breathing through his nose and pretending not to need a rest. It's clear now but seemed to me like being a moron and showboating.

I don't think the fight will happen, but if it did I think DeGale would get drawn into a war and beaten up quite badly. It' a bad nights work for DeGale who always seems a bit vain to me. He wants to look good doing it. Why would he want to have a ragged non-stop barrage of a fight where he will look bad, get busted up etc... and that is if he wins. If he loses then those teeth will go again.

He might do it for the money, if it is enough.

I do think Eubanks style would cause problems for Degale but at the same time Eubank to me gets hit too often in the exchanges.

Vs Degale Eubank would actually be fighting someone who can fight back.

I would edge to Degale right now

I rate Eubank but only against certain styles. If you look at his best wins they're all similar style fighters with no head movement or foot work that he can just tee off on.

The one time he fought a world level boxer who had both of those attributes he came unstuck.

Even when you look further back in his career when he fought Tyan Booth who was boxing on the back foot he had an absolute nightmare and could barely land anything for 8 rounds.
