I heard this could be Miranda's next fight.
Despaigne just lost pretty badly to Sillakh, but before that he won every round or won by KO.

He also beat Pascal and Balszay in the Olympics before losing by one point to Andre Direll.

    Who wins this fight?

That's a good question about 2 evenly matched fighters. Neither one of which I care for, yet they both are skilled. Common sense says Miranda but how many times has common sense failed Edison? Not to mention that Miranda has never won a bout against even an A- opponent. So my man would be Yordanis in a UD.Most I could come up with.

Miranda has no skills and doesn't hit hard enough at 175+ and would get easily outboxed by the Cuban

Despaigne by close UD but with Miranda pop we never know!

I would love to see Pascal-miranda , the 2 got unfinished buisness!

    Miranda!!!

He honestly isnt that good of a fighter what so ever, but he always has a punchers chance, depending on how much weight he gains!

Despaigne is very very slow and not much power. He gets frazzled when he is hit hard. Although a great boxer, I think these weaknesses is something Miranda should be able to exploit. I mean at this point in Miranda's career, if he can't beat a guy like Despaigne then he should hang them up. Another 'tune-up' fight or two isnt going to make Miranda any better.

Typical Miranda, lose a title huge fight, fight a come back fight to a nobody. When big on ESPN. Get another shot. Will his 5th comeback be the one?

I really did thought he looked good the other day. he didn't just fire big shots and actually was boxing that dude a bit more patiently, and won a UD quite comfy.

    not bad.:yep:good

It's a pretty good fight on paper, and definitely a winnable one for Pantera. And given their history, I think the drums would indeed begin to beat for Miranda-Pascal to be made.

According to Dan Rafael, this fight could be the replacement for the Juan Diaz fight that was supposed to happen next month on Friday Night Fights :

For those who haven't heard, Juan Diaz canceled his comeback to go to law school.
