There's something very aesthetically wrong with this picture. Look at Foreman's sloppy, looping uppercuts! His right is far too low and susceptible to many, many left hook counters from Tyson. All wrong for Tyson? Please. Tyson's defense is too tight, his offense superior in every way.

    Tyson KO 5

Everytime I watch footage of these two men in their primes im scared. In an earlier
Thread I picked a prime foreman winning by KO after enduring damage to the body.
I know cus said foreman would be beat all the swarmers, but I think Tyson and Frazier
Are different enough that I don't see prime foreman dominating Tyson like he did Frazier.
now im saying 50/50. If Tyson can duck and counter foreman's shots effectives he can hurt
foreman. Honestly did anybody that slugged it out with these two survive?

Lyle had height and reach Tyson lacked. Yes, Mike had extremely fast hands, but Frazier wasn't lacking in the hand speed department either. Tyson's broad shoulders combined with his squared up peek-a-boo stance would be tailor made for George to plant his huge mitts on and shove off. Mike failed to deck Smith, Green, and Tucker, and only got a flash KD on Tillis. I don't see him succeeding at denting Foreman's chin as Lyle did. George didn't take a backwards step against Holyfield (for which Evander had the height, reach, skills and mobility to adapt), who bulled Mike all over the place. Frazier did well to survive nearly five rounds in the Foreman rematch, but George didn't lose a round in that one. If Tyson can move laterally and box off the back foot, that's a recipe for surviving a while, but not for winning. An 11 inch reach deficit and at least five inches of height is an awesome gap to try overcoming when forward attack is the primary mode of fighting for both combatants.

No I haven't voted yet. Good post duodenum. I remember Frazier landing several
hooks in the rematch, and they didn't do much. Atg staredown for sure. While
duodenum's post makes perfect sense, I also believe a young Tyson's defense is
too good to continue to take shots from George once he felt his power. My pick right
now today, a roughed up Tyson lands a devastating liver shot when getting hit and
ducking against the ropes in round 5. Okay let me hear it haha

Foreman gives him a beating. Tyson goes right into the blades of the grinder.

That said, Tyson, in theory, should be able to beat George to the punch with the great handspeed advantage and shorter shots. Foreman swings wide. He could potentially hurt Foreman, but I don't think he gets there often enough to gain much momentum.

    Foreman KO 3-5

Foreman was all wrong for Tyson. Just too strong and powerful. He'd knock Mike out in 5 or 6 rounds.
