I'm with you all the way on this one. My addition would be that for the first time of his career, Bute faced great pressure from Librado. Where the first mistake was, is in the game plan. Instead of using his legs and his great jab to stay away from the inside game, he was being drawned inside by Andrade and, he was clinching on to Andrade with insistance. This is where he lost all his usually increasing energy. By tring to clinch all fight long. I guess he respected a bit to much the ability of Andrade to hurt him early, and wanted to stay away from his bombs... Anyway, the second chapter will clear the air and after, if Froch or Kessler are available, It' SHOWTIME !
:think Froch doesn't have an inside fighting neither. That could have been a chance for Froch to win, but he does not fight inside.
I had your first post ready to reply to asking your rational. My first impression when the Taylor/Froch fight was made was that JT would take Froch out, but changed that after someone said Taylor let up on Lacy because of hand pain and not mercy/friendship. I'd be surprised if Bute could take him out, but I like Boo's line, "Bute is more than 14 seconds better than Taylor". I think that hits it pretty squarely on the head.
Bute is a hype job Andrade whom the even more predictable and slower kessler dominated from round 1 to 12 took Bute life and death. And we all saw what happened there. Froch must be licking his lips at this easy KO victory.
Hype job handled Bika better than Calzaghe. Hype job knocked out Zuniga with a single shot while Pavlik went through hell and a knockdown to chop him down. Hype job has all the advantages over Froch except stamina, but The Cobra is not the type of pressure fighter to pull an Andrade. Hype job is bigger, stronger, faster, slicker, punches harder, more accurate, has more energy and a better defense than Taylor, who was terrified to jump on a visibly hurt Cobra and still lacked about 14 seconds to win by schooling. As much as I like Froch, and he's a tough dude for anyone, hype job oversomes everything Frochy throws, hits him all over the head and body and stops him about 14 second after he hurts/knocks him down.
Well given that both Pascal and Taylor essentially landed everything they threw at Froch with ease it would have to make you think that this supposed elusiveness you speak of is a reflection of his past sub-par opposition rather than his world class defensive talent.
Anyone who thinks that Andrade would beat Froch really is smoking the crack pipe!! Some people never learn
