You're right about that. Bute is a very good counterpuncher. Froch likes to counterpunch too so it would be interesting to see who will be the agressor.

255 votes and only 3 votes seperating them, is this the closest poll in ESB history which so many people have voted on?

As soon as this fight is official, I'm calling out David UK to a ONE YEAR avatar bet. And this time, the winner will choose witch image the looser will carry for that year. There is no way Froch beats my guy. He had a lot of problems with Pascal and was loosing against Taylor, the first one is a top 15 at best and the other one is a blown MW with too much milage. Bute will be the first real SMW Champion Froch will have to face, that's when he will be exposed as a no defense, poor skills boxer. It should be the begenning of the downfall for Froch. Milk the cow before it tips....

He's saying that he took time out for few weeks to see his family in Romania , he's starting training in Montreal 3 weeks ago.The next match is in september .He has 2 possibilities:
    Rematch angains Librado Andrade
    Unification bout against Carl Froch
He will know in the next few days who will be the next opponent. He's objective is to ramain world champion or to win another belt.

Montreal French press states today that an official announcement will be made about the next Bute fight in the next few days. By the end of the month, we'll know for sure the date, location and next victim of "Le Tombeur". :happy

    Froch vs Bute:bbb

Froch is a great fighter, he is powerful, has good endurance, and a great finisher.

Bute on the other hand, has all that and then some. Bute wins in speed, movement, boxing technique and know-how as well as ... very important ... being able to change his style and adapt to his adversary (eg. watch the Sakio Bika fight - 2 years ago).

If we look at each boxer's opponents, we can not say that one had fought tougher opponents than the other. Neighter can we make analogies like Froch beat Taylor, Taylor beat B-Hop, so Froch will beat B-Hop ... bull ****! Each boxer's dimensions are different and different boxer exploits weaknesses to a certain extent, to different extents!

In every sport, there are specialists, experts, ppl that spend all their lives learning, studying, practicing and coaching the sport. Ignoring their opinion to go with our own is kinda naive and proves lack of reasoning and excess partisanship. In boxing, experts say that speed and technique will almost always win over strong resistant bodies and hard punching “animals”, the examples are overwhelming (Calzghe vs B-Hop, Bute vs Andrade, Hatton vs Pac... etc.). Yes, accidents can happen, no doubt!

Bute has the better boxing technique (movement, precision, defense, combination punching, adaptability and versatility) and has faster hands than Froch. On the other hand, for arguments sake, Froch looks solid and stronger than Bute, punching maybe harder, but a guy with a limited boxing dimensionality. For argument sake again, Froch is better than Bute in 2 or 3 aspects of boxing and that by a little. But Bute is superior to Froch in most aspects by quiet a bunch.

If we have no surprises: paid officials, lack of concentration during the fight, some lucky punching, strong effects on the fighter because of and adverse crowd or god knows what ... Bute will win by UD 8 rounds to 4 (at least).

Also, since the two fighters are KO artists, I would say we have a 20% chance to see a knock-out on either side!!!

Note: The poll is crazy unbalanced but it is due to the difference of notoriety of the two boxers... Looks like more ppl. have seen Carl fight than Lucian … things are about to change! USA and UK get ready to witness this Romanian fighting machine…

    Bonne boxe a tous!

This is what I mean.... hope u speak french ... bwuhahahaha
the article was published on June 19th by "La Presse":
