Chavez would and could get nasty too. Chavez when pissed fought a bit rougher and tougher.I dont think hatton would handle Chavez like he did Tzsue. Has anyone ever seen JCC vs Angel Hernandez? Chavez would low blow when going to the body lead with his head when he throws the lead right and even throw elbows when he threw the hooks if Hatton tried to get nasty in there. anyway Chavez by TKO in the 8th in a ugly fight.

    Chavez.
He was just better at everything Ricky does. He was on the inside landing bombs with a precision Ricky just does not have. He was also aware of everything happening around him while he was in that tight space so that he was slipping and ducking while landing. The way he could come from distance and land while shortening the distance was almost cartoonish. Chavez all the way.

This is a nonsense. Chavez would ****ing annihilate Hatton, you're talking about a true all-time great, versus a good pro with one great fight at the weight (Tszyu) and a few decent title defences. Pryor beats both of them at 140 though IMO. Whitaker too.

I started the thread to see who would pick Hatton and why he would beat Chavez. I agree with you about Whitaker but I think Chavez will beat Pryor.

Ricky should be knighted if he last 8 rounds in this one.

Dont get me wrong, Hatton beat a HOF fighter and is a fighter with some serious ability, JCC isnt a million times better or anything. Just in a different league to him, that extra step, that extra tier.

I think Hatton would give the three of them (Chavez, Whitaker and Pryor) serious trouble - but would back all three to prevail.

    Chavez late TKO
    Pryor late TKO
    Whitaker UD

If Hatton got inside and didn't smother his work he would have a punchers chance of cutting them in half with his whacks to the body.
