Who wants to go against Hopkins again?!

I actually don't think Haye is all too fast in centre ring, where is where he'd need to be operating very well here. Sure he's a bit of a stylist and a big puncher, but is he going to get much chance to counter here?

The only thing i give to Haye here is size, maybe i'll come across crazy for this post.

Haye would be the first to stop him.

Haye isn't some slow, plodding HW. He's got talent. Too much size difference.

i dont think your crazy for picking Hopkins. most people are going with the bigger man, but with Hopkins you just dont know. Hayes not a big HW, and has a dodgy chin. Hopkins put Calzaghe down so he could put Haye down. I struggle to pick a winner here

Calzaghe is a natural SMW, Haye is a natural "BIG" CW....even with Haye's chin issues, the 2 can't be compared

Hopkins has an iron jaw and air tight defense, but do you really think thats enough to beat not just a big fighter, but a big VERY good fighter like Haye?

Haye would kill him... too much speed, and power, not to mention size, if Hopkins doesn't get KO'd early, he'll be in survival mode the whole fight

To be honest i think the speed issue is getting overblown a bit, i don't think is Haye is ultra fast like some of the people that Hopkins lost to. Hopkins not only has a great defense, he is a one of the most experienced ring generals in the world, them subtle shifts and feints are a nightmare for fighters in centre ring.

As it stands, wether Calzaghe was past his best or not, Hopkins is the only man who ever slowed the pace against Joe Calzaghe, no other man ever dictated the pace for any sustained period of a bout against him.

I don't mind people taking Haye here for the right reason. The only one i can conceivably identify is size to be honest. Haye is fast with counters, i'll say that, like that monster that hit Maccarinelli in centre ring. But you really think Hopkins is going to give away anything there? Haye hasn't faced a ring general of this caliber.
