Here's an interesting vid I just found & looked at. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8YtwdCXuEE[/ame]
I am incredibly excited about this fight.... however, i am under the impression that Pascal will win this thing fairly decisively. Hopkins is simply too old, too worn, too faded, and Pascal is at his best, in his prime, fast, strong, big.
I like bhop...i think he gonna be able to impose his fight on pascal...i dont think bhop will let up like dawson was either...pascal will be circling but i think bhop still has the game to cut him off and rough him up before he holds time after time after time.. Bhop Sd IN WHAT I THINK MIGHT BE A "CHESSMATCH"
He is so strong mentally, and so damn cagey.. He really makes guys rethink what their doing in there, and steals their willpower sometimes. Haven't seen the Lipsey fight, I'll try and find it. I think alot of why I'm interested is to see what Hops can still do. A win definitely makes this Legend even bigger..
I'm not really a BHOP fan but, I care. I like to see great fighters do extraordinary things and he's got a chance to do one. I don't think he will, he should be a big underdog. That's why it'd be extraordinary. Fighting in Pascal's backyard, from what I've heard. Against a speedy fighter in his Canadian backyard at 45...likelihood that he could get a decision without a complete schooling? Not good. Hasn't knocked anybody out in several years and Pascal's never been stopped. Chances of him winning by knockout? Really bad. This would be such a huge deal if he won. I'm very interested to see if he pulls it off no matter how ugly it might be.
I agree. B-Hop should win this with experience... Smother, Rinse & repeat, A couple hip shot's slow him down ect. (I just hope this is the last fight for Hopkins & he retires as champ)
I expect every Hopkins fight to be an ugly, scrappy affair that's not great to watch. That's king of what he does. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing how this fight turns out and where the division goes after it.
Hopkins is biting off more than he can chew, and I expect Hopkins to lose badly by either wide UD or KO.
Pascal will win. He's fast, young, can stick and move. The last young guy Hopkins beat was Kelly Pavlik, much slower, just lumbers forward really, ideally suited to Hopkins. I'll stick all my v cash on Pascal by decision.
