Who wins if Cotto vs Pac is signed?

Pac will win a fairly wide decision in this Fight IMHO. Cotto Hands are deceptively fast but his footwork is slower than Pacmans and Pac changes the punching distance with such speed coupled with very fast hands and good power at the weight Pac will beat Cotto and I say this having great respect for Cotto. Cotto also does not like pressure, he deals with it but he is bothered by constant pressure which is what Manny does so well.

That's why I'm picking Pac when it's on a catch weight.

 

Cotto will surely smash Manny to bits.

Cotto is durable, good defensively, heavy handed and has very good boxing skills.

Manny has never faced anyone like Cotto, who is also less ring worn than Hatton.

Although I'd love Manny to do it, the smart money is with Cotto.

However, Manny has a habit of surprising everyone, so who knows?

 

At 147 yes . . . not at a weight lower than 147.

 

Pac's team is so stupid. Saying that Cotto is a straight up fighter. If this were to happen at 147, Im going for Cotto. Any thing lower than that, if Pac were to win, will tarnish his victory.

i like both guys as well, but im going with cotto on this one.

i dont know that manny has fought someone w/ that much power. not only that, cotto has a good d, and is a great counterpuncher.

even at 140 i think cotto wins, but maybe by decision, not stoppage like he would at 147.

 

:good His adviser has given pac the worst advice...Fight and beat Cotto to get to a Floyd-Pac showdown? What makes them 100% sure Pac will even make it out a Cotto-Pac bout? Though I'd be curious to see a Cotto-Pac fight, I'm a huge Pac fan myself and I'll be honest, this is not the best fight for manny, especially if he wants to fight floyd right after.

Cotto is said to be having a hard time even making 147..If that is the case then he has no business fighting even lower then that...

 

Cotto has the jab (a powerful jab) that'll keep Pacquiao honest...However, this fight for me is a goddamn toss-up, Pacquiao has demonstrated that he should not be underestimated :deal. Cotto has the skills and power to hurt Manny but the real question is, will Cotto be in shape to last all 12 rounds against a guy that can go 15+ if he wanted to............

It's hard to pick against Pac right now because he surprised us twice. However, on paper, at 147 Manny gets a brutal beating.
