Boxingcar this is a no brainer. These threads have been done to death and should be deleted as soon as there created. Boxing match Kimbo gets owned point blank. MMA rules of course the fight favors Kimbo who`s been training with Bas for some time. But lets be real Toney isnt some punk. This is a hardened veteran from the mean streets of Detroit.

Anyway its a crap thread and a useless topic.

Isn't Kimbo nothing but a stand up guy to begin with? In other words, he's pretty much just a thrower? In that case, i would pick Toney in the UFC.

Submit what?> Kimbo couldnt even spell Guillotine.Mercer was so old he was spitting dust when they fought.Anyway MMA rules the likely outcome is Kimbo wins but whats the point in debating that when its obvious?

He's got sub's and a GnP, he's not a top MMA guy, but he'd beat a boxer with little or no MMA training. Ray Mercer tapping out was before most of his training.

Kimbo has learned BJJ, MMA based wrestling...and good call on the guillotine, he used that after two months of training which now would be over a year. Again...he's not a top MMA guy, but for the sake of argument (and you agree) he beats Toney in an MMA fight.

If you don't like the thread, don't post. And if you agree, quit arguing.

Sam Peter would disagree with you! He got wobbled by the former middleweight in their first fight.

Like Mercer said the only thing Kimbo brings to a fight is ugliness.

Kimbo had no trouble with Ray Mercer - he simply choked him out. How would JT be any different? In a boxing ring Tony wins easily...in MMA he loses just as easily.

Kimbo was never intending in his fight with Mercer to stand and trade for long! It was always his plan to take him down and submit him, simply because Kimbo isnt stupid - he knew he couldnt compete for long fighting Mercers fight so he trained to do other things. This suprised Mercer because he wasnt prepared for it - he thought Kimbo the punching street fighter would do the same old thing - but he didnt! So Mercer lost for not preparing right were Kimbo did.
