edge in speed to Pac, edge in defense to JCC, both have excellent power, JCC throws better combinations and works the body a HELL of a lot better. I would say JCC can take Pac's shots a hell of a lot better than Pac could take his so I go with JCC.
Chavez would slip Pac`s best punches & brutalize him on the inside, Pac would land his best shots every now & then but he would not be in a good place mentally when he sees his best shots just bounce off Chavez with barely any effect. I dont see how any knowledgeable poster that has seen a lot of both guys can favour Manny in this fight.
Having an opinion doesn't mean everyone should agree unless you're a saddest. One of the judges after the first fight officially announced she made a mistake scoring it even because she scored the first round 10-7 rather than 10-6 like the rest of the judges. Both fights were close but Pacquiao won them for me. The knockdowns made the biggest difference.
tough call. these are almost complete opposites, but they both had/have tremendous heart. chavez never the slickster, his defense was very good at lightweight. manny's also very good, probably better on his toes, as chavez was flatfooted. manny was a fast starter, who tends to fade abit in the middle rounds, chavez was a slow started and pickup the pace. i think other than rosario manny has to be the hardest puncher julio had faced. in think no doubt manny would win the 3-4 rounds just barely, because unlike an old oscar, a prime chavez had tremendous power in both hands and was very good at throwing very short punches that didn't look powerful, but were very effective and didn't leave him wide open like hatton. speed would be on pacman's side, but julio was very patient. julio might land 2-3 to every 3-4 of pacmans, but his left hook to the body would slow pacman and he had a decent jab and powerful right hand to keep him at bay. it would be a close fight and very bloody one too, with cesar bobbing and weaving like never before making manny miss and like morales his right hand would find it's mark. imo this fight would end like the first morales fight or a draw. julio is easiest the strongest, most dangerous, and most durable fighter pacman had ever faced. one other thing. julio, especially at lightweight, had a very dangerous right hand that was never slow at all despite him being flatfooted. even in his fight with taylor it is evident how powerful it was despite it being the 12th round, and none of this meldrick was tired **** because i'm sure jcc was too.
In his prime, when JCC landed that straight right, his opponents looked they'd just stuck their finger in a light bulb. Shocked, stunned, and never quite the same for the rest of the fight. His left hook to the body was ****ing vicious too.
Pac has a great left hand that would KO the average chin but JCC's was carved from the great pyramids of Giza. Pac glass body wouldnt be able to handle JCC's vicious body attack and end up taking a beating. JCC would beat up Pac in their primes.
what? Pacquiao easily knocked out Hatton in 2. I expected him to have alot more difficulty than that, therefore I acknowledge that I underrated him. I already thought Chavez vs Pac was a very close fight before, but now that I realise that Pacquiao is better than I previously thought, the balance has tipped in his favor. Hatton being on the same level as Chavez is neither here nor there. What kind of f'd up logic are you using? If I thought Hatton was on the same level as Chavez, then why did I say Pac by decision instead of Pac KO2. Wouldn't that make more sense? actually what am I thinking, talking about sense with you...
atsch It was the judges who scored the fight and gave it to pac cry marquez cry :rofl Marquez said i dont really know what else i have to do to beat pacquiao. It's really simple stop kissing the canvass:rofl:rofl
