I dont see a problem for Pac in fighting Guzman. its perfect for him. Guzmans hands are held a little too low and Pac definately will hit him and have him down.

Soto (the one fighting Juarez or Bobby Pacquiao) is no better than MAB in 2003.

His style for perfect for Pac.

    I agree.

If Guzman fights like a Mayweather he'll win the fight. But if he fights in a Boring match, Pac will snubbed him & will take the Diazes at 135. So its imperative for Guzman to be impressive to get that Million $$$ fight with Pac.

Guzman also never hurt anybody seriously after he moved up in weight. He seldom fights. He's supposed to KO Davis in his last tune up fight, instead he comes out as the Uglier Man after the fight. He's fast but he has a short arm which is a dissadvantage against Soto. Soto is Longer, Taller, younger, Stronger & Punches straighter.

Soto was wobbled by Bob Pac but Pac Brother is really a strong puncher & the first to KD Famoso Hernandez. I don't see Guzman hurting Soto in this match, He'll break his hands first before he hurts Soto. Soto I think is Stronger at 130, He's Knocking out all his opponents at this weight. He has more quality opponents on his resume than Guzzy. My Pick right now is with Soto by TKO.

Very good match-up, I'm just not sure how entertaining it turns out to be in the ring. The fight could go either way but I'm leaning toward Soto. I think he is a better schooled fighter than Guzman and that will be the difference.

As far as the winner taking on Pacquaio. I don't think it happens personally. Pacquaio will fight Marquez or move up to 135 and fight David Diaz before a possible dream fight against Juan Diaz. I think both Soto and Guzman are underdogs to Pac but not by much. Either Guzman or Soto beating Pacquaio wouldn't shock me in the least, I just hope the winner gets a shot at him.

Guzman's speed and footmovent. This isnt like Juarez or B. Pac who stayed in front of him. Guzman is going to outbox him silly.

I don't think Guzman Box Davis & Barrios Silly. Soto is the better offensive force than Barrios & Davis combined.

So far it's a pretty close match with 18 in favor of Guzman and 16 in favor of Soto with 3 predicting a draw.

The expectation in this fight is as close as you can get based on the survey.

ill favor guzman in this fight... IMO too fast too slick for sotto. guzman's power is very much underrated in this forum. and on the other hand sotto's power is being overrated as well.

Soto by TKO! in the later rounds. And you guys are wrong about Soto. he isnt just a dumb power puncher. he is a smart boxer with power.

I use to think it was Guzman clear cut but now im having second thoughts. Guzman really hasnt beaten anyone half-decent, the only guy hes beaten who is decent was tailor-made for him. A slow plodding swarmer vs a slick iron chinned boxer, Guzman had to win it. On the other hand, Soto really doesnt look anything special either. Hes definetely a solid mexican fighter but some people has been comparing him to a younger Erik Morales which is a bit of a joke. I just watched Soto vs Bobby and he got hit way too much and considering how easy it is to hit Bobby I really wasnt impressed with the 7th roun stoppage. Heck I think an old, past prime Morales would have taken bobby out sooner.

Im picking Guzman through a competetive UD but he wont look anywhere near as flashy or smooth with Soto, someone who can actually box.

Soto has waited for so long to get a title shot @ 130, this is his chance.
I can see Soto's determination win, he's the younger fighter of the two...
    I'm rooting for Humberto Soto.
