    Well?

Joyce is 32-33 so he's ready.

Being 32 doesn`t mean you`re ready, being experianced at 32 means your ready, we don`t know if Joyce could trouble AJ the way Whyte did because he hasn`t anyone near the level of AJ.

Whyte with his clear edge in professional experience would be the favourite but I wouldn't rule out Joyce. Whyte looked great against Browne but he's an old slow man, trying to box and counter him. Whyte hadn't looked great before vs Helenius and of course Chisora with his pressure style took Whyte to the brink of defeat more than once during their fight. Can you imagine how Whyte copes with the bigger, more aggressive, harder hitting, pressure of Joyce. Joyce won't gas like Chisora did when he tries to take Whyte out.

Whyte is far more proven but Joyce might have the style to beat Whyte.

As @Brighton bomber said Whyte would probably be the favourite right now.

But to be honest, every time I imagine this match-up I see Joyce winning due to the stylistic match-up. If Whyte gasses he's in a world of trouble, Joyce is already better than the Chisora who arguably beat/drew with Whyte.

"He's got a good engine and a decent boxing brain but he leads with his head. Anyone who's a clever fighter will clip him because his head, and his chin, are up. Throw a big overhand right or a left hook, and you'll do him. If Joyce got in the ring with me, I would destroy him."

I think Joe would mow him down. You can't set up right hands when your trying to fend off a never ending barrage of mentally draining punches. Chisora proved Whyte struggles with pressure

Joyce is a top 10 heavy already imo, cant see anyone outside the top 5 beating him tbh.

whyte - joyce would be a good one but id rather see it later down the line, after one of them has beaten wilder

Really hard to say tbh. Joyce's approach against Lenroy Thomas was pretty no fks given in terms of return fire, and it looked real one sided despite Thomas actually landing a few things however Thomas is not a puncher. We've not seen enough of Joyce in enough different situations, I am sure he'd not take that approach against Whyte (which I'd say would be a silly idea) but it means that I'm not sure exactly what approach he WOULD take, and how effective he'd be at implementing it.

I think it'd be competitive, but I'd be watching that fight to find out more about Joyce as opposed to expecting to see him proving where I feel he stands in the division - because I really haven't got a gauge. It feels like he COULD be mixing with the top 15 from the eye test so far though

Joyce just made heavyweight even more interesting overnight.

He burst on to the scene now calling out Big Baby.

Joyce started boxing in his mid 20's so idk I have a feeling he's gonna get sparked.

Joyce reminds me of Browne, big hitter but late to the game and one paced. I would expect Whyte to win.

I can't favor Joyce over anyone in top 6 after watching his amateur bout vs Usyk, Usyk was like 30 pounds lighter, 10cm smaller and absolutely destroyed Joyce, he barely landed a punch in 5 rounds.

    It's 50/50...

Both are extremely underatted and dangerous for other reasons.

I would give Whytre a slight advantage bc his pro experience and he's at a good point now with a few more fights he will be where he needs to be to be a threat to the top 3 guys.

Joyce has some things to iron out , mostly defense.

This would be a great fight.

I think they should drop him in against Miller. AJ seems to walk into any fight he wants so let JJ do his talking in the ring. No belts involved just drop him in the deep end. People look at the fact he’s 4-0. However they need to see he has some quality so let it happen, boxing needs more match ups like this.

imo I would favor joyce because whyte is terrible his win over brown who was completely out of shape is getting overrated what about when he looked like trash against chisora and helenuis that win is more about how trash brown was then how good whyte was
