As much skills and speed Mosley had back then, I doubt he'd use them against Chavez. Mosley would out box and out punch Chavez in the first 4-5 rounds. But he did enjoy a nice brawl when it presented itself and would never back down. That would be his undoing as I see prime Chavez with better chin and much better inside, close-quarter game. Chavez by TKO in around 9.

Mosely would take an early lead but pay for it. Chavez would break him down and win by late stoppage. Chavez is to skilled and would be able to walk through Mosely.

Mosley has yet to be stopped, and only down twice in his career.

Why do people think that Chavez would stop him??

    Mosley UD.

Was done a while ago and I went with the more proven 135 fighter Chavez in a UD win. Too drunk to provide personal analysis may do later on.

Exactly. People saying Chavez has "a better chin"... I really don't know where that comes from. Mosley is known to have a granite chin.

Chavez did stop Taylor. Taylor has speed like Mosley.

you dont go through 89 pro fights before suffering your 1st knockdown if your chin isnt excellent , you could say Chavez's chin was lamotta class :good

Rosario, Taylor, Laporte, Camacho, Mayweather, Limon- no knockdowns, and even past prime against Kostya Tszyu and DLH and still didn't come close to dropping.
