Gary Shaw, promoter of WBO light-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, claimed last night that promoter Frank Warren has been in touch with the governing body wanting to arrange a fight between Bradley and Amir Khan. Bradley, who holds a victory over Junior Witter, successfully defended the belt again last night against Lamont Peterson.
“The fight that I’m looking to do is an Amir Khan fight,” Shaw said at the post-fight press conference. “Right after tonight’s fight, I got a call from the head of the WBO (the sanctioning organization that recognizes Bradley). He told me that Frank Warren called him tonight and said he wanted to make a fight between Khan and Bradley.
“I had some preliminary discussions with Warren and Showtime a few months ago and I think it’s a fight that might be able to get done. I have no problem taking Timothy to England to fight Khan in front of 40,000 screaming Brits. I don’t think that’s a hard fight for Timothy. I’m surprised Warren wants that fight.
“Khan’s been stretched before and I’m more than happy to have Timothy stretch him again.”
Khan's trainer and mentor Freddie Roach has reportedly said he'd take the fight.

Well i figured Peterson to control bradley with the jab and he couldnt so I guess Bradley wins this one too.

I think Bradley will be too much for Khan.

Khan would win. He'l be way to much for Bradley to handle. Khan is a big light-welter.

Bradley, I can see him getting past Amir's jab and beating him on the inside. Khan's inability to fight on the inside will be his downfall.

I'd give both another couple of fights before making this happen. Maybe spring 2011?

khan would be given the perfect training and perfect gameplan by roach to beat bradley and i think if that fight happens after the trainning camp khan would beat a decision out of bradely.

Bradley will KO him. Khan will get his hard in this fight, and his chin won't last.

It could be very possible, Bradley is more than capable of landing something big in the first 3 rounds, and when you have a chin like Khan's...

yeah, i just feel khan needs more experience in the light welter division. and tim isnt a big puncher but he definitely can punch hard enough to trouble khan. khan will do well in round 1-2 but bradley will clip him and lights out for khan.

Did you see the punches Prescott hit Khan with? Khan still almost managed to get up the 2nd time aswell. Plus Bradley doesn't hit hard as Prescott. Khans defence has also improved and his chin seems to have improved at light-welter.

Did you take all them points into consideration?
