WHO WINS: Marcos Maidana vs Amir Khan @ 147?

khan got lucky last time and the ref helped him and that time even if he got shot he wanted to prove something to the haters. this time maidana will ko him but khan is a much much better boxer so If he uses his head he might get to 12 round but it only takes one shot and we all know maidana hits harder then diaz

Khan is done he looks so much worse under hunter.

 

Khan is not with Ariza anymore, not in his best fitness. Plus the beatings he took in Maidana,Pederson and Garcia fights have weakened that already weak Punch Resistance. Maidana wins by KO this time and early.

 

I picked Maidana in their first fight, and I would do it again if they meet.

Maidana is a joke at 147, but Khan is just a joke.. Toss up

 

Khan beat him last time so I would assume he would do so again. Maidana is not a counter puncher like Garcia he won't try to catch Khan coming in like Garcia and Prescott did. He'll just follow him around the ring and occasionally force his way in allowing Khan to fight his fight off the back foot like before.

Maidana simply wasn't smart enough to beat him before. He fights at one pace, never varies what he is doing, as predictable as Khan is Maidana is more so and by constantly coming forward allows Khan to box going backwards rather than drawing Khan in like other fighters have done to beat Khan.

 

Maidana uses the jab now to set up his power shots, also throws them much straighter. This Maidana is an improvement over the 2010 Maidana who only threw wild sloppy hayemakers all night.

The 2010 Khan is a lot better than the current Khan when You take into account the beatings vs Maidana,PEDerson and Garcia, change of trainer and fitness trainers since the first Maidana vs Khan fight and this all equals Khan getting Knocked out at 147 vs Maidana.

 

Picked Khan in their first fight despite everyone picking Maidana by KO

Would pick Maidana by KO for the second time around though.
