If they were to fight who do you think would win and how?

I would have to go with Paul Williams because of his height, reach, and workrate. Mosley has had problems with taller opponents such as Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright. If Williams comes in the way he did for the 1st Quintana fight [which I doubt] Mosley will win with a wide UD.

    Williams UD/SD

What are u guys finking. williams couldnt even UD quintana. mosley is one one the greatest boxers of this era man. he aint at his peak but the guy can do way more then quintana did in the first fite against williams. i hope this fite happens cuz i would put a lot of money on mosley to win.

Yeah but he also came back in the rematch and knocked out Quintana in less than 3 minutes

The Mosley of the Cotto fight would beat him, most likely by close decision (but a KO is somewhat realistic). A worse, more past-it version of Mosley could struggle with him a lot more, possibly lose. So I would favor Mosley about 65/35 if the fight happens in a few months.

Williams was impressive in his last fight, but his defensive flaws and issues with not using his size effectively still exist until he proves otherwise. Forrest/Winky comparisons are ridiculous.

thats true, but since he aint gona KO mosley were talking about him beating mosley and getting a UD. if he's gona get a shot at that he's gona have to improve his boxing skills, perhaps working on his counter punches against a quick fighter will help him

Whats up with all these Forrest and Winky comparisons, they were fighters who worked off their jab and kept you AT THE END of their height/reach.... Paul Williams has yet to do this..

    cotto out jabbed mosley:think

yet cotto is far form slick rick

mosley is an amazing combo puncher with a great sense of timing and speed...but has always been open to get hit. he is by far the great defencive fighter some think he is. if you have a decent workrate then you can win the round against him...williams has that abilty.

but also williams has been shown that his defence is minimal. it's just his size, southpawness and high work ethic makes him a hard man to beat.

quintana beat him by countering throwing a jab then slipping the slower shots but quintanas main weapon was that he just disengaged with him I.E turned away, clinched, turned to the ref...did everything to get off beat with williams...

    mosley wouldnt do that.

but mosley is no joke and he would be able to get to williams harder than quintana and be able to make it count...while he has the chin and confidencew to trade with williams.
