No Lewis may be concerned better due to his better all round skills. One thing I have to give to Vitali though and commend him for is his real natural toughness as a man much tougher than his younger brother.

Simple answer No. Ali faced the biggest punchers in history and he even face some of them when he was way past his best and his decline had started and they could not knock him out even though they hit him do know way Lewis could have knocked him out any version and especially peak Ali.

None of the big punchers Ali faced were as skilled as Lewis

I agree but not even i see Lewis "stopping" Ali The closest thing to Ali Lewis fight was Zeljko Mavrovic and that went the distance. Lewis could use his size and reach and win a decision but prime Ali could move circles around the ring. And had better head movement than anybody Lewis faced. Prime Ali is 60s Ali that danced around Liston, not the slower 70s Ali that lost to Frazier and Norton. I just dont see Lewis getting the KO

Lewis will also lose to Larry Holmes both at their peak.

Lewis looked like trash that night. A prime Lewis would have beaten Vitali convincingly

Foreman gassed out his ass swinging slow punches on Ali for several rounds on the ropes with no success. Lewis would fight Ali like he did Mavrovic. Lewis has a better gas tank than Foreman and has taken hits from bigger punchers than Ali like Bruno, Tua, Vitali etc. It's not as simple as "he KO'D Foreman so he'd KO Lewis too" even absolutely featherfisted Young dropped Foreman when he gassed.

Laughing at your reply Ali stopped better fighters like Liston, Foreman and Frazier and Lewis got knocked out by McCall and Rahman. Its perfectly feasible that Ali Ko `s Lewis

Foreman had fought vs Ali once in Africa, Zaire.
This most likely together with proud history that he never had get rematch vs Ali is proof about Ali greatness and how cool lad Ali and King were in 70 ies, LOL.
While if cash cow Ali lost, then rematches and rematches. For me Ali is 1-2 vs Frazier, sorry, excessive holding etc is good for Ali fans here if talk is about Ali not bad and suspicious Ivan Drago from film Rocky and 1-2 vs Norton despite score cards for me this is like this.
    LOL.

While yeah, prime Ali was Ali from 60 ies not 70 ies.

Sadly ppl forget about this and if boxer was 38 y.o and older and does come from not proper country, his age does not matters at all.
This is normal for casual fans of course.

Liston is a better fighter than Lewis ? Name Sonny Listons bests wins right now and I'll name Lewis's. Also be aware that half of Liston opponents were sub 200 pounders. He had never fought one person who weighed over 230, let alone a 245 pound, powerpunching elite Super heavyweight like Lennox Lewis. Stop wearing nostalgia Goggles. Also Frazier brawled with Ali for several rounds and took flush shots out the ass. Frazier is 5'11, 214 pounds, Lewis would manhandle him like Foreman did. And against Ali, Lewis would stay behind his construct and fight a tactical boxing punching match with Ali. He would not be going to war with Ali.

The fact that you bring up Oliver Mccall and Rahman KOing Lewis as evidence that Ali would KO Lewis is just a terrible argument because you realize Lewis has beaten bigger punchers than Oliver Mccall and Hasim Rahman right ? Bruno, Ruddock, Vitali, Morrison, Tua. Based on your logic they should have KO'd Lewis because they punch harder than Mccall and Rahman and Lewis beat both of them in the rematch anyway
