After the last 2 fights Hopkins has had I truly can't see him lasting through the power of Green and the stamina Green has....If Bhop (however great he was or still is) If he is getting that badly rocked by shots to the back of the head and has to take 5 mins for every foul RJJ did I hate to see him in the ring with a power punch like Green.

I know many of you have never really seen Danny Green fight besides the RJJ 1 round ko and his fight on the Lacy v Jones Undercard but (and I maybe Bias) I cannot see how Hopkins could last 12 rounds with an attacking power puncher like Danny Green.

    Any thoughts?

    Green would win.

Remember that Mundine gave Green a boxing lesson. It would be embarrasing if Hopkins could not beat Green.

True he gave Green a boxing lesson but everyone knows Green should never have fought at Super middleweight, He lost the fight fair and square but he never should have fought Mundine at that weight.

I'd still take Hopkins in this fight. Green is exactly the type he'd do well against. Not real quick, pretty orthodox pressure style. As long as Hopkins gets his 'rests' which he always seems to find a way to do I think he'd sneak out the decision.

Hopkins would win a DQ in the us and Green would win a TKO in Austrailia

Yeah, I saw how green spun Roy around in a tackle, held him still with one hand then punched him directly in the back of the head, those ruthless aussies.

Why not? He fought every single fight of his career previous to the Mundine fight at super middle and never had a problem. He came into numerous super middle contests well below the limit so it can't have been too hard to make weight. Next excuse

What power does Green have? Do you think someone as stiff and mechanical as Green could land on a defensive master like Hopkins? Is Hopkins chin all of a sudden not Iron? When has Green ever had a high output of punches?

You are obviously an irrational Green nutgobbler, no version of Danny Green ever beats any version of Bernard Hopkins. Two totally different class of fighters. Green is a journeyman at best.

You have boxrec bookmarked, huh? :patsch

Anyone who actually knows something about Green knows that he was never the same since the Sullivan fight. He fought it while suffering a virus. He dominated it, pretty much like he had dominated everyone befoer that. He was so sick that be the end of the fight he was delusional and apologised to the crowd for losing, despite just having it announced that he was a clear winner. He then spent three days in hospital recovering.

He went from humilating Beyer like noone else had done, to losing against Beyer in the rematch, and looking like a shell of his former self. At one point he was clearly the third best in the division, behind Calzaghe and Kessler. Then he ruined his health. It is only since he has stopped boiling down to SMW that he has started to look anything like his previous self - and he is still a far cry from his prime.

It's kinda sad watching people who have no idea whatsoever about Green try to comment like they have some knowledge.

spot on lefty, all before the fight green carries on like its hes best training camp and making weight easy.then after the fight when he is shown to be classes below mundine in the ring, he comes up with these bull**** excuses.
green nothing but a ****ing whinging big mouth ****, parading around like some working class hero, he talks more **** and got a bigger mouth than mundine (and thats not easy to do) i dont know how more people dont see straight through him

btw even this version of b-hop outclasses green:deal:deal
