I think Wlad fights him much the way he fought Povetkin. Just hangs on him until the later rounds and Wilder would be so exhausted from Wlad's size that Wlad would KO him late.

 

Why Wlad did not go after him when he was active? WBC is the most important belt

Wilder`s reach and jab are much better than Povetkin`s reach and jab are or were v Wlad.

 

Wilder wouldn`t throw as many v Wlad though, so his older legs won`t tire the way they did v AJ.

 

Why is the WBC the most important belt and Wlad fought AJ he looked more promising than Wilder at that time who wasn`t really taken seriously at the time outside the US.

Fury won because he ran and only stood in his punching range which worked because of his height and reach, AJ won because he so aggressive the only thing Wilder has in common with these two performances is the power of AJ and the reach of Fury but he doesn`t have the aggression that AJ displayed on the night he KO`d Wlad so it`s not so cut and dried, Wlad caught AJ with a great right hand so he can still punch and Wilder is often more open to counters than AJ is, Wlad has more of a punchers chance v Wilder who is heavily flawed.
