Tricky, hard one to pick a winner, it's easy to lean towards Ortiz because of his power but can he get through Pulev's jab and if he does what does he do to prevent getting clinched to death on the inside?

Wlad was light enough and quick enough on his feet to bounce on the outside and then jump in past the jab while throwing a shot and catch Pulev. Ortiz does not move well enough to do the same. He could find himself out pointed if he can't figure a way to overcome Pulev's spoiling tactics.

I think the difference could be Ortiz being a southpaw. Out of that stance the southpaw lead right is opposite the Pulev jab so it's hard for the orthodox fighter to land the jab, which would take away Pulev's biggest weapon. As long as Ortiz uses his right hand to parry and block Pulev's jab he should win.

i would take Ortiz, however, I could see Pulev giving Ortiz some trouble before Ortiz's toughness wears him down.

Ortiz is more hungry and determined at this stage. I'll give it to him.

Would be an excellent matchup, 50/50 for me.

This. Pulev is highly overrated. Pulev is Jennings level at best.

I think Pulev would surprise a lot of people and beat Ortiz convincingly on points.

Not sold on Ortiz, but Pulev had troubles before with the southpaw Tony Thompson, Ortiz might take his jab away. Good match up , I would say 60/40 in advantage of Ortiz.

I would say it's 50/50 fight and it won't finish with a KO. For sure it will go into the deep decisions.
