His movement was up and down, not the sort that is as hard to counter as lateral movment. Still, I have always thought Pac would handle Guzman at any weight and won't debate it again because there are other threads where we have done this.

Huki is an excellent and knowledgable poster... the thing with this matchup is that you won't sway him and likewise he won't sway you because I have done this with him before. Its just a difference in perspective.

what the hell are you saying dude? where did i say that pac fights well going backwards? i said izzy moving forward will only mean that pac has a target in front of him at all times. pac had a tough time against jmm because he moves well in the ring and is a good fighter even when moving backwards. izzy will not fight on the backpedal and this would make pac look better. there is no possible way for izzy to beat pac at 122. he cuts way too easily.

pac was a harder puncher at 122 than rafa. and look what rafa did to izzy's face everytime. pac has a waaaay better chin than rafa and if it was not for the last KD in round 12, rafa would have won that fight too.

Nah Morales was done in that fight(2moralesfight)and in the first fight Morales made him go backward's and won the fight. And morales does not have the power of Vasquez.

Countering him was very difficult? You're a Pac nuthugger and a bit of a troll, so there's no point of arguing with you anyways.
Maybe I used the wrong word. Nothing is "easy". But none of those fighters are even better than B- level.

yep. pacs ultra-busy offense would be too much for anybody at 122. as to his right hook after morales 2. nope, its very mechanical. hes throwing those hooks to show he can throw it, not as a part of his combos. well, not yet, but its getting there.

Was that my main argument? I've said numerous times why Guzman would not just beat Pac at 122, but dominate him. If you can bring in analysis to explain how Pac would win, go ahead and try.

I agree, I tend to favor Pac in h2h matchups against nearly anyone in recent times, except against Morales. In the all time sense, I still think he does very well, except against great counterpunchers or tall rangy fighters who deal in distance such as Arguello and Saddler.

ok. you are officially on crack. have you seen morales at 122? izzy only looked strong becase rafa's chin is suspect.

Those are pac's kryptonite. he never liked fighter who'd run around him. still, pac will be no easy picking for anybody. he will connect at least one power left in the entire match and when he does, the opponent till be in trouble.

that was at 126 and even at that performance, his speed wasn't anything like when he was at 122. it's one thing to be a speedster, but speed loaded with power and very relentless at that is a very difficult test to solve for any fighter. marquez did after three knockdowns but he was against a heavier pac and his formula isn't an easy one that could be copied even by guzman. he waits for pac to attack then he takes a step back or move his head then throws a counter. he has perfect timing, one delayed reaction and pac would send him again to the canvass. guzman on the other hand likes to move around and potshot. but pac would have no trouble chasing him with his own quick feet. and while dancing around, guzman isn't in a better position than marquez to throw a counterpunch. he'd eat those lefts as soon as pac appears in front of him.
