who wins pavlik or williams

    i think this would be a great fight they are almost the same build the same style. they both have the same relentless attack. williams has a better defense i think i would love to see this fight. who do u think would win i saying pavlik in a late rnd stoppage.

    I think this fight would be amazing. I am starting to believe the Punisher would beat Pavlik. I am a big Pavlik fan but the way he was undressed against BHOP was disgusting. Paul Williams brings a lot more to the table than a 43 year old BHOP. Paul wins a hard fought UD.

    Paul williams gets laid out brutally. Just not a good fight for williams imo

    Pavlik, of course. Williams dominates because of his height/reach advantage. Take that away and he's just another fighter, though one with an excellent workrate.

    I was just thinking about this fight myself. I think if Williams can win a wide UD by he has to improve his defence and improve his footwork. Right now I think Pavlik wins late by some form of KO

    Pavlik can match Williams punch output but has alot more bang:bbb I dont think Williams has a chance he was cought plenty of times yesterday and was hurt by telegraphic looping punches, imagine Pavliks straight bombs???

    Not so fast my friend...

    Williams fights inside and to the body. He is purposely giving up his reach and height so that as he moves up he can get more and more used to fighting inside and without the advantage. Plus, he has more power and a better chin than you guys give hime credit for. I'm not saying he would definitely beat KP, but if he works on a couple of things, defense in particular, over the next couple of fights, he will be ready to make it a really good fight.
