No, I think it's been proven that Williams has an excellent chin. No one should dispute that. He got hit with some good shots last night and shook them right off. But he has never taken a shot from a guy as strong as Pavlik, not even close. Margarito may be strong, but Pavlik's on another level. He knocks MWs completely unconscious.

:huh Their styles and weight/strength are nothing alike.

I would be worried about paul's defense being good enough to take on pavlik. Pavlik is the bigger, stronger guy. Head to head in a brawl, he takes this fight. Williams has improved on his defense, but he still is hitable. If he were to box and take advantage of his reach and jab from the outside then maybe he could win but he doesnt do that.

Hops is much bigger than Williams, fighting at 170/175 he is stronger than pavlik where as pavlic would be the stronger guy against williams. Hops is light years ahead of williams in terms of defense and counter punching.

pavlik by easy ko, williams stands there and trades he does'nt move like hopkins (no one does), just because hopkins outclassed pavlik does'nt mean he is still easy to beat.

As much as I still like Pavlik, I'm going with Paul for the win!

I don't get how people see Williams being so effective at middleweight? I think Pavlik beats him down.

I think it's because they've only seen Williams against shorter, and usually much shorter, fighters. How will Williams do when he's the shorter, weaker fighter? Not well. He's no Mayweather.

William's has an enormous reach, but he does not use it effectively. He does not "fight tall." This thing would turn into a war of attrition pretty quickly, and that is a bad move against Pavlik. I think Kelly gives Paul a beating in the middle rounds, and stops him around the tenth.
