Until boxing makes some rule about how much weight a guy can gain after the weigh in, there's no such thing as a weight bully. Teo beat Loma fair and square. If Loma isn't comfortable at 135, he doesn't belong there. Simple as that.
I dispute half of this but agree with the other half. Haney is Teo's level, it's just a stylistic foil vs. Loma. Teo is huge, fast and has mind numbing power, hence Loma's cautiousness early. Haney is fast and skilled but he's not gonna outduel Loma nor does he have that power x-factor that would force Loma to be cautious. Loma would definitely dominate him at this point IMO.
Lomas at the end of the rope, he's watching his career through the rear view mirror at this point. He showed against Teo that his confidence is just not there anymore, even giving up the last round to seal his fate. That is recipe for disaster against a young lion like Haney. Loma's a good guy with a good reputation, he should go out on a high note against an opponent that will make him look good. The last thing boxing needs is to see this guy staring up at the lights like Ricky Hatton
The only reason Loma waited 6 rounds to get started against Fimo, is because he was wary of his power and wanted to find a way inside whil e taking minimal damage, also Teo seems quite dangerous early. But he took two rounds longer than he should have to get started. Loma won't have any of those concerns with Haney, who he'll dismantle and stop in 10.
Lopez fought a more skilled fight v Loma than Haney would, Haney is just a negative counter puncher and nothing more.
