    You're forgetting margaritos fights with daniel santos, a draw and a loss. Santos was a cagey southpaw, but nothing special. Then he moved back down to 147 where he could impose his size (and bricklaying) better. Trout beats him too.

    But Margarito has the better stamina and will put alot of pressure on Canelo.

    There's no chance he used plaster when he stopped Martinez. Yeah I know Martinez was green, but talent is talent and he never lost again till the very close PWill 1.

    Its amazing how many people underrate Canelo now after Floyd schools him. Really the limited Margarito beat Canelo who is superior in just about every facet of the game.

    He lost 4 years earlier against Santos. And while I think Margarito didn't use plaster until he had to run back to welter, it's more than fair to question his entire career.

    What does Santos have to do with it? I saw it btw, it could have gne either way.

    Nobody loads gloves for 10 years, you either get caught or go crazy with paranoia
