Right now? Tough one. We are still not sure how fit and ready Fury really is. Facing somebody outside the top 100 is a lot differnt to fighting a top 5 guy. But i can see Fury dancing around behind his jab and giving Povetkin very very little to work with all night long.
Style wise Fury is all wrong for Povetkin, far too tall and rangy, but Fury isn't 100% not even close, but then again Povetkin is past his best too. I'd slightly favour Fury but Povetkin always has a punchers chance, he only needs to land one good punch and the fight turns his way but I suspect Fury does enough to jab and spoil his way to an ugly decision.
I'd back any top hw against Fury at present. Yet to see much evidence he's back to the sort of level that would see him through a contest with a top guy in the division.
like when he was getting thrown around the ring by wladdie? albeit cheating wladdie, I will give you that, you may have point, it shouldnt be about wrestling.
Fury won't lose to anyone shorter than 6ft 3. His whole boxing style, would be a absolute nightmare for Povetkin to deal with. Tyson is a level above the Russian. Because of his physical superiority.
It's quite hard to say. Big, big size disparity. Povetkin much more in form of course and the Pineta fight doesn't tell us TOO much. I'll lean Pov for now
depends if fury is allowed by the ref to do awrestling pin with his elbow after getting floored by Povs dangerous overhead cracker.
This, this, this. FFS, Pianeta is so shot he pisses pellets. He's so shot they use him to strain noodles with. He's so shot you can use him as an anchor. Povetkin would absolutely savage Fury right now and it's not even a question to me. If Pianeta can walk you down Povetkin will lay you out. Sometimes these polls make me wonder what people are on. Fury is still rusty as all hell.
