Luis Ortiz isn't that good. Sasha Povetkin is the far more accomplished boxer. And considering this bout is going to take place in an even playing field. Such as in age, size and etc. Povetkin's skill advantage will be enough to get him the win. Either by late KO or clear decision.

Hmm, interesting. Ortiz should win against Povetkin. But, similar to the Tyson Fury situation, which Ortiz are we talking about?
He had quite serious health issues (like high blood pressure, etc.) before the Wilder fight, and now one can easily add depression on top of that... So, hypothetically, this fight with Povetkin should happen ASAP.
But, realistically, Ortiz' boxing career is done, unfortunately...

Even this old version of Povetkin should be able to get the job done. Ortiz is a dangerous guy, but I see Povetkin as a step above. Is it any wonder that Wilder filled his underpants at the thought of fighting Povetkin and used a trace amount within the accepted limits of a drug that may or may not improve performance to dodge Sasha ... but fought actual roid-popped Ortiz? Drugs can't give you skills, and Pov has skills.

Its pretty obvious most of Sasha's violent late KO's were due to the meldonium allowing him to keep his stamina late into a fight, making his power more effective on a badly gassing opponent, since he doesn't have that going for him anymore, and let's be honest, he was going down from glancing jabs against Wlad, Ortiz can hurt him and stop him. Ortiz wins by TKO 9-11.

Last month Ortiz, now it's 50-50 leaning for Povetkin decision.

there is just certain fights that boxers don't recover from. Tyson never was the same after he lost to Holyfield twice, after Sam Peter lost to Klitschko, Brewster wasn't the same fighter after he fought Liakhovich. I don't believe that Ortiz will recover from that beating he got from Wilder, especially at his age.

there is no actual point in a man with a 6-8 round gas tank (maximum) being in a 12 round fight.

It’s a good fight. I think it goes the distance. Could go either way.
