Correction. He would thoroughly embarrass the sport of boxing by making silly attempts at getting back in the ring.

If he even makes it back into a ring to begin with he's gonna find out quickly enough that the likes of Kirk Johnson, Corrie Sanders and Danny Williams are long gone. No soft touches to please the casual fan, white world with.

It's a good thing you aren't posting under your normal name.

Anyways, perhaps Sam made Maskaev a stiff? He didn't look all that stiff in the first round. At least from what I recall. Looked like same old Maskaev to me.

And he was also well known for being an underachiever. Nothing to do with his talent or his ability; everything to do with his drive and will to get into shape. And again, I don't really think this is a situation to bring one's conditioning into, as almost all heavyweights today are in pitiful condition.

    Something Peter couldn't do.

A Peter supporter complaining about someone else not having technique and conditioning?

Watch near the end of round 1 vs Vitali, Sanders ducks a right and comes back with a left right down the pipe. Say what you will about his technique, Peter will never, ever, be able to do that.

Those are the WBC's rules, not Vitali's. He's entitled to a shot because they already said so. It's that simple.

When he was training for McCline. Look at it this way, if Vitlai returns from a long lay off, and an injury and re-claims a belt, he's got a huge legacy.

Very few fighters could do this in their mid 30's.

well..now that the fight is signed and set for oct 11, what are your thoughts?

i still feel Training Camp should be the slight favorite but Vitali a close second to make Scam the first to get 2 beatdowns from brothers. Vitali late stoppage...and Peter needs to put a lid on the Haye-like trash talk and do some more roadwork. If Peter comes in 250+ again, he is gonna pay for it :D

Will notorious Peter fanboys/Wald haters like Punisher, 40oz, Suge, AmbDef and Swedeone take my 1 month avatar bet? :think

I know Vitali is a big question mark after being out for so long but i can't pass on another chance to stick Peter lovers with an avatar featuring Wlad in a string vest or sword fighting his brother naked :yep :yep
