Who wins: Shane or Pacquiao?

With his speed I doubt it. Cotto didn't find it too difficult and he isn't as fast as Pacquiao.

 

Thanks for the clarification. Was not sure they scored that 1 or 2 knockdowns. But I SERIOUSLY doubt PacMan can hurt him. We differ there. Shane has taken the best that Oscar could land, the best of Cotto, The best of Margarito, the best of Winky....Just dont see it!!

 

mosley by decision, but a KO is also possible. i think mosley is just too big for pac.

 

But he's definitely not as fast as some of you are claiming, no where near Floyd/Pac fast, his speed is more like Cotto's and Clottey, just all around very good speed, while pac and floyd have excellent speed.

Don't know about people who think Mosley is slow, he sure as hell isn't but Pacquiao's speed is superior and when you have someone too fast he tends to make his opponent look slow, a good recent example is how slow Hopkins looked against Calzaghe and how fast he looked against Pavlik.

Pacquiao WILL catch Mosley, who tends to charge in, with the right hook and he will do so numerous times. That won't happen because Mosley lacks defense or anything, of course not, it will happen because Pacquiao has the speed to catch him with it, that includes straight lefts and body punches upclose. This might be a stylistic nightmare but I fully expect Pacquiao to adapt as I'm sure he is able to, what would be amazing is to see how Mosley will adapt as well, this is why it's 50/50, I believe anything Pacquiao brings Mosley will find a way to counter, same goes for whatever Mosley brings.

Regarding size, I don't see it as a major issue in this one and size discussions seem to be overrated lately even after what happened to DLH/Pac people can't get over it. If Pacquiao lacked the speed, movement and stamina then sure I'll say size will be a huge factor but the guy can move, stay active and counter when necessary all night long with the stamina he has.

This is a stylistic nightmare for both guys in my opinion.

 

Pacquiao has the speed of a freaking jr. featherweight. Mosley is fast but I don't think he is as fast as Pacquiao. That's like saying that Pacquiao and Hatton have the same speed.
I"m not gonna count Pacquiao out on this one. If the fight is going to be really made then I'll make a prediction. Right now I think it's about 50/50.

 

Pac can out work Mosely. Pac has balls the size of churchbells for taking this fight. Void has none.

 

Pacquiao's main advantage is his footspeed, and the fact that Mosley will allow him to box in the center of the ring to set up for attacks. It is very possible that Mosley's strength and power in the exchanges could be too much for Pac, though.

 

My head says Mosley but I have to go with pac...He helped me bought my first car...lol

 

It bothers me how people say "Cotto was just as fast as Mosley that night"....Cotto was NOT beating Shane with his "speed". He was TIMING Shane that WHOLE night. What happened when Shane went to his Ali like Bouncing, in and out movement? He threw Cotto off BIG time, hence on this fans scorecard, how he came back and WON that fight. Timing and knowing what to look for, makes you look faster than you are. If Manny gets into 1...I mean ONE exchange with Shane. It will be the LAST one of the night. He better be ON POINT all NIGHT. I see Shane walking PacMan down Early. Much like he started doing with Cotto and Margarito. PacMan WILL be going backwards after he realizes he cant hurt Shane. I see a Margarito like stalking(cotto/Margarito) where after 3-4 rounds Pacman is in Total retreat, ala Cotto. Please No one say I am comparing PacMan and Cotto or w/e else you might TRY to derive from what I was saying lol. Just giving a visula, thats all.
