Who wins? Stanley Ketchel Vs Sergey Kovalev

No Bones about it Kov was an excellent excellent fighter in his prime. His decline since the first Ward fight is almost unbelievable to me. His legs are gone as is his punch resistance. He has no chance against any of the other belt holders or Canelo for that matter. Canelo wanted him for a reason.
Getting back to the question if Ketchel can weather an early beating then yes he could come back and take him IMO

Yes sir Canelo saw it so did I. Canelo looking to take a scalp from a shot fighter. When Bivol offered his title Canelo all of a sudden got deaf and blind. They thought the same strategy with G but they miscalculated. Canelo won on paper but he knows G beat him twice. He took Jacobs because Jacobs looked like crap in his last 2 fights. G ruined him and he was past it going into the Canelo fight which is why Canelo made the fight! He will give G his third fight when G turnes 40 then maybe he can beat him honestly. A little off topic i know i just cant stand how sneaky and manipulative Canelo and Oscar are. Building a career on old mens scalpes. Disgusting

 

Kovalev is another fighter many on here was calling an ATG (Mendoza and Seamus for two) before he proved anything in the ring. An example of fanboy cheering rather than critical thinking. Certainly a hard puncher but also certainly he lacks intrinsic toughness and cannot take it to the body. Ketchel knocks him out in savage fashion.

 

Kova tears him apart, even this depleted version we see now.
