Know your history. That was no PRIME Tyson! He didn't even train for that fight. He was partying at the giesha houses, drinking sake and getting laid all week before the bout.

Not to mention, the ultra-motivated and extremely well-prepared Buster Douglas that fought that night was far from a walk in the park for anybody... including Vitali Klitschko. :deal

Prime Tyson shipped in from the Catskills, doesn't read the press, enters the ring and performs, defeating Klitschko in whatever way he needs to, and goes back into seclusion.

    Vitali can not be intimidated.

I think Tyson loses this one when he realises that Vitali isn't one of those who are mytified by his "mystique".

Vitali would intimidate me more then Tyson. Tyson was very strong but he liked to talk and act crazy. Vitali just has an enormous genuine imposing presence about him. Tyson was intimidating for sure, but Vitali has the size and that calm, confident presence. As far as a prime vs prime battle I think Vitali would be intellegent enough to keep Tyson at bay and win on points. Lets not forget that 6'4" Frank Bruno and 6'5" Tyrell Biggs had Tyson beat until they got away form their strategies and decided to close with Mike and trade blows.

Vitali would take his belt away(ala peter) before the fight even starts, and mike would come unglued, leaving Vitali to KO an overly agressive mike....

I hate to bring the race card into this but I'm sure, given some of Tyson's crude behavior and comments over the years, he would have used the term "whiteboy" very liberally. In fact, Tyosn would have made B-Hop's comment about Calzaghe look innocuous compared to what he would have to say about Vitali, who would probably find the whole thing to be amusing.

Tyson would win the fight though Except for his height, he is the prototypical fighter who can beat Vitali. Power, speed, movement, and most importantly, chin.

bj, you realize that Mike Tyson is perhaps the most feared boxer in the history of Earth, right? His opponents would shat their pants climbing over the ropes. When did you start watching boxing, cousin?
