Hope for Kovalev win but Ward dominated the 2nd half of the fight winning 4 of the last 6 IMO (Kov won 5 of the first 6 ). I think this will be similar to Mayweather-Castillo/Maidana 2 where Ward will improve and leave no doubt winning 8-4 or so. Hope Im wrong.
That's wishful thinking. If Ward wins, Kov fans say it's finally even *. If Kov wins, Ward fans say it's finally even *. * with plenty of emotion and some other mild excuses in there
That's how I would love to see every fight A level fair fight with no controversy & the legitimate best man getting the win. That doesn't happen too often sadly
Everyone Kovalev fights has to walk around with the damage accrued from that fight. Ward is going to be diminished and will simply go to Court and get some Russophobic judge to overturn the rematch clause he signed. Contracts are not worth the paper they are printed on when you know the right people. Kovalev and seemingly JDJ have no idea the level of corruption they are up against. I like Kovalev but if he actually let Ward off the hook in round three to give the fans a longer show, that may have been the dumbest move EVER!
This content is protected Here he clearly says he didnt want to "show short round", "I wanted to give good boxing, but not short rd" He wanted big drama show, which he seemed to think meant stretching the fight and outboxing Ward as he did BHOP. He knows next time to KO3 his @ss just as soon as he connects.
ward. kovalev will go for the kill leaving himself open. by the later half of the fight ward had kovalev figured out, as long as he can withstand the early blitz ward will walk away with a clear decision next time around.
You would think so. However, Kovalev spent most of his career smashing his opponents to the canvas but when it came time to box he was almost on par with Ward. Despite Kovalevs recent showings his boxing is STILL underrated.
Ward. Kovalev only fights one way and is effective with it, but Ward can make more adjustments in a second fight. He'll probably be more aggressive.
My God these Wardo's are delusional. It is like some weird personality cult where they think he is this great boxer constantly making adjustments. They all picked him to win easily then he gets outboxed and given a gift, now he is suddenly going to win a rematch much easier. Brainwashed, no nothings who cannot think or even apparently see for themselves.
