With round one over we have seen controversy, knockouts, possible retirements, upsets, interesting pair ups and excitement. As the second round begins who do you think wins the overall tournament not just their second match. So much can happen with injury and KO's and style pairings. Fighters are required to fight 4 high level fights in a row to win winning the last two. Belts change hands and fighters lose 0's. Also at the end of the tournament will Unify Froch's WBC and Ward's new WBA. By the conclusion there will be one winner with two belts and some nice wins on his resume. I just hope there is no draws. To me I think Kessler can bounce back but he got beat convincinly. Abraham to me is a solid favorite seeing how his power and chin carried up. Taylor if he isnt retired is my least likeley pick. Froch who barley kept his title in a close fight is very durable powerful and aggressive and gives everybody a tough night. Dirrel is very fast and talented just inexperienced yet talented and like Ward a dark horse. Ward proved he is the real deal last night. Without knowing the matchups of the elimination round of the tournament and top four who wins?

Hard to say, both usa guys are sharp, very fast, but it depends on the judging when they fight AA, the guy is one dimensional but over there hard to beat cause of the dodgy germans decisions:D I think Dirrell outboxes him all night but maynot get decision, same with Ward

Based on the round 1 display I'm going for Abraham

Still want Froch to win though!

I still think Abraham is going to win the whole thing. Ward's definitely a force in the tourney, but my opinion isn't swayed by last night's fight, I'm still picking AA.

Good thread. It will be interesting to see how so many opinions will change from just a day ago.

What is the best trait to have in the tournament power, defense, athleticism, consistency. So many factors to throw in plus the final four depends on what happens in round to what if Dirrel loses again he is done. If three guys win by KO which gives extra points can a 2-0 guy with two decisions be eliminated

I picked Abraham, but until last night I thought it might be Kessler. When the tourney was first announced I thought Dirrell. Point is, there have been surprises , and each performance seems to change the entire landscape. Right now, I can't figure out what the hell is going to happen next.
