I like Langford but he'd have to be his best to defeat Tunney at heavyweight .. if he came in half baked Tunney would decision him .. I'm one guy that believe too many here over rate Charles at heavyweight and Walcott all together ..
Langford finds Charles' chin as Walcott did.Tunney outpoints Walcott.Tunney outboxes Langford, whose Achilles heel was a good fast jabber.
Charles also out boxed Walcott the first two times they fought, at his very best I believe he could do it to any of these men. Therefore I choose him to be victorious in this tournament.
All these neb are at their best at about 175-180. The more I picture it the more I think Charles might escape Langford with a decision win.
I like tunney to win. Decisions of course, but he's no easy night's work for anyone and uses those ringsmarts to win the rounds.
I'm settled on this one now. Charles is the p4p best of the bunch but his skills only take him so far when he has a 180+ Langford trying to mow him down. If Langford has bulked he will win, not because he's better but because he's bigger.
