Dude, if Yanqui Diaz beat down Gomez in less than a minute, you should even be thinking about Vitali!!

rofl..u must be smoking tree...no way does Gomez get away with his **** defense against Vitali or Wlad.

and Gomez is on crack. Vitali has all of 2009 to fight Gomez per WBC rules for mandatories. This fight is pointless. Vitali should get rid of that joke Valuev ASAP. If not, target Haye. Those are the only 2 fights for Vitali right now.

Vitali is a killer and none of these jokers has a prayer no matter how much **** they talk. Peter showed what good that did. All it does is **** off Vitali even more

Gomez could never outpoint Vitali and he has nowhere near the power to KO him. Gomez probably takes a decent beating and gets laid out in the fifth.

Gomez has ATG talent and the work ethic of Paris Hilton. He has used cocaine for long periods of time, trains when he feels like it, which is not too often. I would not favor any fighter in history over Vitali with that kind of attitude. I am not saying Vitali is unbeatable but it would take a special fighter who is also focused and disciplined to have a chance.

On the other hand, the fact that Gomez would most likely bemore competitive could mean that he gets knocked out more quickly and brutally than Peter. I actually felt that Vitali was taking it easy against Peter once he saw that Peter could not do anything to him. It always felt like Vitali could pick it up at any moment but decided to fight like in a tune - up fight. If someone like Gomez actually tries to win against Vitali, he might get a really terrible beatdown.

Gomez is a good boxer but I don't think he has the speed or power to trouble Vitali.

    Vitali KO in 5

Gomez will put up a competitive fight, that's for sure, as he has a slight longer reach than Vitali, is a southpaw, is hungry and has quite a good amount of experience, but winning is another story. He did well against Virchis, nothing extraordinary, though Vitali seems to be faster than him too.

I believe Vitali gets a TKO win by the tenth or the eleventh rd.

But Sanders had the power to actually stun Vitali. Gomez can land whatever, Vitali will just walk through that. Even if Gomez outlands Vitali 2:1, he would lose by KO or TKO...and noone ever outlanded Vitali.

I will bet my money on Vitaly by stoppage victory.

According to Vitaly he already knocked Gomez down during a sparring session when they both fought the same stable in Germany. He also stated that Gomez ' style suited him very well.
On top of that all Gomez has balloned up quite a lot over the last 2 years.
Cant really see Gomez hold the forth and take the fire for more than 6-8 rounds against Vitaly.
