andre dirrell did a number on abraham untill the 11th. could andre ward dominate from the outside in a similar fasion. or would he find another way to beat him?
im thinking maybe not. ward likes an attacking apponant so he can counter and out smart. or he likes fighters who he can bully and get inside like green. abraham will just move forward with his gaurd up like he does then aattck with his double fisted monsterous hooks. ward doesnt have dirrells speed of foot. i reckon abs would catch him quite a bit.
abraham is too inactive. hopefully he learned his lesson about being busy and controlling his emotions from the direll fight. otherwise ward-abraham is ward-green part 2.
Ward should be able to outwork Abraham and win a decision. But, Ward would get hit and hit hard. His heart would be tested and Abraham would have the proverbial puncher's chance. Exactly why I would make sure I was in front of the tv.
yeah it would be a great fight. it might be the final aswell as ward may well beat dirrell and froch will strugle against abraham. just watching the kessler ward fight, thats why i pose the question. kessler fought a bad fight against ward. maybe thats all he has and his style just didnt suite wards. he's an attacking fighter the comes forward in straight lines. perfect for the pot shotting and counter punching of ward. abraham wont take them chances. plus ward wont be able to boss on the inside with arthur.
I see no chance in hell Abraham can win a decision against him and I trust Ward's ability to neutralize Abraham's offense. It's true that all it takes is a good shot on the button for Abraham but it's got a snowball's chance in hell of getting there. Should be interesting looking though...but since I'm in no way convinced he gets past Froch (a tossup fight that I slightly favor Froch in), who knows if they'll ever fight?
Abraham can't deal with Ward's in-out, at least he's never shown the ability to do so in the past and no sign that it might be something he is capable of adding to his toolbox.
