the guy was a fringe contender making a name for himself and his promoter got him a good run for the tournament...don't cry over milk that's still in the glass
Abraham has no chance to outbox Andre so he falls far behind on the cards. Has to take more chances gets caught by more flush shots until he finally gets broken down and stopped late for the first time in his career. Andre would have to be taking him lightly and walk into a sequence of big punches .. doubtful. Afterwards, Arthur has a battle of the damaged fighters with Kessler for some good coin. A well rested Kessler turns out to be a stern test and they go the distance in a crowd pleaser. A rematch takes place six months later. Two years after the super six, weakened versions of Abraham, Kessler, and Froch finally get phone calls from Bute.
i dont quite anticipate Ward KO'ing AA... UNLESS He steps up to being the "FIGHTER" he says he's planning to become. That meant towards having the ability to close out when you got the opponent hurt AND taking the necessary risks to close him out. That's the problem Ward is knowingly working on...... STILL.
boxing doesn't always work that way though. abraham can punch and it only takes one to take ward out of his game. ward has to be on his game for 12 rounds. i think ward's good enough to win this, but latter rounds are always interesting in fights like this.
i know about wards versatility. ive written articles about him. ward always finds a way to win. he's the most efficiant professional in the game. he even stretches the rules a bit to ensure the victory(head butting v kessler). but isnt it true that you over stimating wards opponanats. mikkel kessler who fought a very close fight with the limited carl froch. plus kesslers his style suited ward. allen green who to me just looks like a limited fighter with a decent left hook. he lost a decision to edison miranda!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's hardly a world beater! ward is very good at everything. he can counter punch, hit and move, and he can brawl. but he's not exceptional at those things. he is exceptional at fighting on the inside. probably the best in the world at finding room to pop those short hooks and uppercuts. the trouble is thats not gna happen against a strong bull of a fighter with a great defense like abraham. the best way to beat abs is to out box him and ward may be able to out box him for much of the fight, but abraham carries his power into the late rounds and he'll be throwing leather at ward when he's tired and flagging. thats when the ability to move like lightening comes into play. something ward isnt as impressive as andre dirrell at. i honestly believe ward will get ko'd by abraham in the late rounds!
if u watch the 360 documentary he's working realy hard on his legs to prepare for ward. he felt his legs wernt quick enough against dirrell so ward should be facing a faster more livly abraham.
I would have to see Abraham's next fight to make a decision. He Showed in the fight camp 360 episode that he's been working on his footwork for months, and trying to throw more. This was his first loss, and he's hungry to redeem himself. If he beats Froch or even KO's him I would say he has a hell of a chance to beat Ward. If he's the same Abraham, Ward Wins a UD If he's the same Abraham with footwork and a higher activity level...Abraham by KO imo
